today, i went to visit a gynae. after i had done by scan and proven that my ovaries are fine, the doc told me that it is the "perfect" time to be vaccinated with GARDASIL and also take Diane 35 pills to regulate my menses + contraceptive + good skin + prevent breast and ovarian cancer. Then he said I needed to take a pill to make my menses come so that I can take Diane 35. My first reaction was ??? because i had to take so many pills??? i had a scan to make sure my ovaries are ok because i have rather irregular menses but everything's fine and i'm sure i'll have regular menses by next year. this is the age when girls start to regulate their menses (18 to 19 years of age). so the doctor asked this "counsellor" to talk to me. this gynae clinic is combined with aesthetics and i thought the "counsellor" was dealing with aesthetics as she kept on promoting skincare products while i was waiting for my turn. she kept on asking me to take it and i felt very confused because they mix what i need (that is regular menses) with what they want me to buy (pills that give you good skin + regular menses +.....) i thought of buying the pills to prevent cancer but that's just paranoia. i'm glad i didn't buy anything. these people are just out to earn extra bucks. %#^%^(*&(*&(
